Sampieri has colored beaches, shades of deep blue sea and sky, sand of desert gold, small natural dunes, form spectaculars symphony of colors between Marina di Ragusa and Portopalo.

A very interesting place is the furnace of Penna,a ruined brick factory, a location of some episodes of the TV series Inspector Montalbano.

Sampieri was the first docking point for ships coming from Africa. Thanks to the charm of the past of this fishing village it certainly worth a visit.
