Portopalo di Capopassero is a small fishing village located in the southernmost point of Sicily.
It can be reached via a spectacular scenic route adjacent to the sea. You can admire the historic tuna fishery (the oldest in Europe), the Tafuri castle and the island of Capopassero on the pirate bay.
From a small square overlooking the sea, on the left there are the fishermen’s houses, some of which are nowadays used for tourist purposes. On the right you can admire the Island of Capo Passero, while a few kilometers away you reach the Island of Correnti.
