Capo Passero is located on the most extreme point of Sicily, Italy and Europe. It is not just a beautiful beach with unique sunsets. It is a small fishing village hosting hundreds of greenhouses dedicated to the growth of the famous cherry tomato of Pachino, a delicioius variety grown on volcanic soil and irrigated with brackish water. One of the main monuments is the fortress of Capo Passero which seems to sail over the two seas, the warm waters of Africa on one side and the cold and dark Ionian on the other.
