A small and charming bay located within the nature reserve of Vendicari. Beacuse of its shape it is sheltered from the currents and the water is always calm and clear. In 2005 Calamosche was given the title of “most beautiful beach of Italy” by Legambiente, an Italian environmentalist association.It is accessible only on foot. After 6 km on the Noto-Pachino road turn left for Calamosche, follow the road signs and drive for a few kilometres. Once arrived park your car and walk about a kilometre to reach the most beautiful beach of Italy.
